Willow Tree Family Farm is a small farm park close to where we live.  We were introduced to it by our friends over the Easter weekend when they hosted an hourly easter egg hunt for the children, although M managed to get involved too.

We’ve been back a couple of times since then as C really enjoys looking at the animals and its cheap!  Just £3 for adults, £2 for children and under 2’s go free.

Theres a good selection of farm animals which you’re able to buy feed for, and at certain times of the day they have animal holding/petting.  We’ve never been there at the right time for this but I think there are rabbits, gerbils and rats.

You can buy feed for the animals for 50p a bag which is nice, and theres plenty of food in the bags to last all the way around the park.  Theres an adventure playground with slides, swings etc in the wooded area, and also a play area with little bikes and scooters outside the cafe which is great as you can sit outside on the benches and have a cuppa or a bacon sarnie while the kids play.

All in all its a nice place to go for an hour.  I’m sure as C gets older we’ll spend longer there as she’ll be more interested in the animals and the playground but even for an hour its great value for money.

This is not a sponsored post, I just wanted to share a lovely place.
